M-SCM Green Belt Training
SCM Green Belt is for Supply chain related associates who work in the field, including positions such as warehouse supervisor, expediter, senior buyer, plant floor supervisor, and transportation scheduler/planner. This program is designed to be completed using on-line modules, with a final one-day meeting to review fundamentals before the final certification exam. The participants should have an associate degree or higher, at least 2 years of experience in working in SCM, but English proficiency is not a requirement.
Web based, self paced learning modules will be utilized in this program as pre- or post – class work for the students. The modules will be timed and synchronized with the workshops or modules as the program is configured after the student assessments. All modules are presented both in English and Chinese. The student can switch between either language on a screen by screen basis. See appendix B for an example. Awarding of an SCM Green Belt SCM certificate is contingent on completion of the following: 1. Fifteen on-line, self paced learning modules and passing of tests for each module. 2. Attendance at a one-day program workshop. 3. Completion of a final exam for the certificate 4. Completion of an SCM improvement project at their facility and presentation to their colleagues.
