It is a statue and excellent indication of professional conduct, knowledge, experience and leadership. C.P.M. is issued by the Institute for Supply Management, previously known as NAPM, an internationally well recognized organization in purchasing management for almost 100 years. It is preferred by many US and Canadian corporates as a defacto standard for the profession. For over 30 years, the value of C.P.M., as well as A.P.P. (Accredited Purchasing Practitioner) are highly recognized in over 20 countries and by Fortune 500 companies around the world.
C.P.M. required a certain degree of English competency since exam and required knowledge content are in English. Matching with C.P.M. is a Professional Knowledge Series developed by SCMC in Chinese conntent, ensuring the compatibility to international standard.
Certification accreditation in the area of supply management for ISM's Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) designations are granted by ANSI. ANSI certification helps to identify qualified organizations to consumers and employers, provides mechanisms for systematically monitoring the performance of certified persons, and encourages individuals to participate in continuing professional development.
